Privacy Policy
resonanceportal.net is the website for the novel Resonance Portal Wars. We collect very little, we don't sell anything about you, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

What we collect and why

We do not build profiles, combine this with other data, or make automated decisions about you.
Cookies and browser storage
We set no advertising or analytics cookies. The site keeps one small value in your browser's local storage. It records whether you closed the dossier pop-up (so we don't show it again for 7 days) and whether you already joined (so we never show it again). It never leaves your device. You can clear them in your browser settings at any time.
Who processes data for us
- Vercel hosts the website and serves pages.
- Neon hosts the database that holds the list and the visit logs.
- ImprovMX forwards email sent to our domain.
- When we send email, it goes through an email delivery service (Resend or Google).
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
When you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon's own privacy policy applies from that point on.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link that deletes your address. For anything else, email privacy@resonanceportal.net and we will reply within 30 days.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority where you live.
Children
The site and the list are not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
